Design Brief

Hugh Walker runs Animation Direct and has been working as a freelance computer animator since 1995, creating broadcast quality animated graphics for video, television, and the multimedia industry.

Before moving into animation Hugh worked as an architectural technician using AutoCAD and other software. Due to this experience his animations tend to be technically accurate as well as visually appealing.

The brief was to create a new logo design, web site design and stationary design reflecting the quality of work produced by Animation Direct.

Zumm Creative Approach

The logo graphic works on two levels, as it shows letters A and D (the first letters from 'Animation Direct') and makes them form an image of a film reel, highlighting the service offered. The space and the simplicity of the brand work well against the visual animation produced by Animation Direct.

The key to the Animation Direct web design was to make it look professional and easy to navigate, allowing the visitor to easily find the information they are looking for.
