Design Brief

Bear is a Manchester based property development and investment company, creating residential, office, leisure and mixed use schemes.

Bear is run by Sally Gunning, and exists because of her love for beautiful old properties, new buildings and fantastic design.

The design brief was to create a new brand including the name, logo design and web design, with an image that wasn't stuffy, reflecting their property developments and love for buildings.

Zumm Creative Approach

The Bear website has won many awards for its innovative design, and has also appeared in .NET magazine in the Gallery section as one of the sites of the month.

The logo design reflects what the brand is about, with the letters making up 'Bear' given a solid building feel.

The web design shows the different spaces we live and work in, and how they fit together. It uses isometric 3d which gave us the framework to create a complex design, and shows pieces of a building animating to form a solid structure.

The site design is highly interactive, allowing visitors to explore and click on different sections revealing snippets of video production and audio.
