Design Brief

Sous Chef offer delicious home-cooked food that you would make yourself if you had the time to plan recipes, shop for the best, seasonal produce the region has to offer and then prepare each meal.

Their meals are freshly prepared and delivered to you ready for you to add the finishing touch. If you fancy putting your feet up with a glass of wine, order a dish that simply needs popping into the oven or alternatively, go for something that needs to be sizzled in a pan if you enjoy a bit of cooking without any of the hassle.

Sous Chef wanted to create a stylish online presence, showing quality as the essence of their brand. Each page needed to have an individual feel by using photography of fresh ingredients whilst following the branding of the site.

Zumm Creative Approach

Sous Chef wanted their web design to reflect the quality of their food and have a rustic, yet modern feel. The use of grey works well as a background colour as it contrasts with brighter colours, and helps to emphasise the photographic imagery.

Every season Sous Chef change their menu to use the best seasonal produce available, and they needed us to produce printed menus reflecting the quality of the food, which they are able to send out to their customers on a quarterly basis.

We have also produced advertisements for Sous Chef which have appeared in local publications, which follow the brand using key messages and eye-catching imagery.
